Communication Through Dialogue - Verbal

This is an extraordinary clip of Gary Hill's Artwork. He has experimented with a combination of meaningful lip actions.

The kiss being a passionate positive expression, which the contrasts with the tired negative lip shake followed by  the blah lip motion, which initially indicates someone not being interested. This structure of the film creates the impression of a positive atmosphere gradually descends into a negative emotion through the repetitive process of the film.

The study of Gary Hill composing a variety of mouth positions has inspired me to link Eadweard Muybridge's concept of shots with this creating an element of Surrealism to photography.
