Marey Films Expressing Movement Of The Human Body - Intial Body Language research

Initial Movement within a Human Body, simple yet effective to form a complex language of its own allowing you as the viewer to understand what is happening in the film.

 Films Composed By Eadweard Muybridge
I Have posted these films on this blog to create and study the concept of the human body and how simple movements alter and pull the skin to create different emotions simply through - BODY LANGUAGE. This is a dramatic part of a humans life to express emotions through individual moves, speeds, directions and from these elements a composition of language has been translated.

Studying the Female Torso as a element of Movement.
Through-out my research I have constantly been studying the body as an form of communication and this has allowed me to explore the natural shapes and forms of the body as no garments restricted these forms produced. Therefore I would like to further develop my research into the natural structure of the body and the movement based around the torso of a female.

Micheal Flasch

Micheal Flasch is a well known artist that explores the human feminine form but with the use of shadow creating a texture over the body. The concept of using the feminine form is a subject I would like to further develop within therefore I will ananlyse Micheal's Photography for inspiration of portraying the most exaggerated form with the human body.

The Suit Skin

The Area of the body that portrays independent movement consists of a combination of the chest and hips therefore I will be start to considering working with my garment to highlight this specific area.

Barnaby Hall

The blurred effect to the photography of this previous image creates a motion of movement portrayed.

Exploring the natural female torso with a combination of lighting, this creates a more dramatic effect of the torso's form. Highlighting specific areas. This is an area I will start to develop within when i am designing and interpreting the natural torso form into my initial designs.

Another dramatically famous artist that explores lighting to increase the feminine shape and form is Sam Taylor Wood. Sam explores lighting but also with angles of how the photographs are taken. This emphasises specif areas of the feminine torso. The images below are the most inspiring artwork that I have found through studying his work.
