This Video clip is an extract taken from the Moulin Rouge. This example demonstrates how movement through dance expresses emotions. The Tango is one of the most serious emotional dances that originated from Italy, it allows to people to portray their lust for each other a combination of sexual movements. The Body itself interlocks with its partner to form and portray one performer. The movements that are repetitively used throughout the performance included:
The two partners interlocking their bodies, brushing their hands over the others body, stretching, twisting and relying on the other as if a relationship is being portrayed and expressed.
